Will also operate from a solar panel that can supply about 3.2 amps or more - any panel over 50 watts should run it. Higher wattage panel will give you more early and late day time operation. We recommend a 60 to 75 watt panel.

These are light duty pumps (regardless of what Shurflo says about them), and not really meant to run for hours every day. If you do that, they probably won't last more than a few months.
