These MC3 to MC4 adapters are discounted because we will no longer be stocking this item. We are out of stock of the other type of MC3 to MC4 adapter. Once all these are sold, we will not be receiving any more.

Adapter Cable, Male Solarline 1 (non-latching MC3) to Female Solarline 2 (latching MC4). About 20cm (7.8") long overall end to end.

For adapting the older MC3 (SolarLine 1) cables or PV panel connectors to the new MC4 (SolarLine 2) cables, or vise versa.

The new NEC codes will require that the new latching type MC type cables and connectors be used for new installations. However, there are still some solar panels and cable extensions with the Solarline 1 (MC3) connectors that may require adapting. Useful also if you are mixing older and newer panels for your system.
