Note: The KD135SX-UPU module has been replaced with the new KD140SX-UPU. All connections and physical dimensions are exactly the same as the KD135SX. If you're interested in upgrading an existing system of KD135SX modules, the new KD140SX is compatible.

The Kyocera KD135SX-UPU is almost identical to the KD135GX-LPU except it has a standard screw terminal junction box instead of the MC4 connector cables. This panel replaces the older KC/KD-125 and 130's. This is the largest solar panel that can ship UPS.

This solar panel is suitable for any off-grid solar powered battery charging system, including RV, remote home, or marine. The Kyocera KD135SX is one of the few larger solar panels still available with a junction box, rather than the MC4 cables. The KD series junction box versions all have a 4" x 4" junction box with screw terminals on the back of the panel for wiring. This is a standard 12 volt panel suitable for almost any environment or application. Ships UPS. This panel replaces the older KC-125 and KC-130 panels but has a slightly different and heavier frame size.

New frame technology allows for end mounting under 2400 Pa (50 psf) or wind speeds of 130 mph (ASTM E1830) and traditional mounting under 5400 Pa (113 psf) to support increased snow load.

These cells are encapsulated between a tempered glass cover and a pottant with back sheet to provide efficient protection from the severest environmental conditions. The entire laminate is installed in an anodized aluminum frame to provide structural strength and ease of installation.
