These connectors use the machined/cold formed type of contacts.

This Amphenol female H4 connector comes with the housing and the metal crimp contact. It is intended for use with #10 AWG outdoor wire. These connectors must be crimped with an Amphenol H4 crimping tool in order to meet UL standards and pass inspection.

We recommend purchasing two of the Amphenol wrench tools for tightening these connectors. They are not necessary, but it makes assembly a lot easier and does not risk damaging the connector with pliers. One wrench tool is required to disconnect a male connector from a female connector.
