The APsystems QT2-480 is a native, three-phase quad microinverter delivering up to 1800VA of continuous AC output at 480V, allowing for direct connection to commercial 480V services with no step-down transformer required. A single unit connects four PV modules across two independent MPPTs and up to 11 units (44 modules) can share a single 30A branch circuit, dramatically reducing AC-side wiring and homerun count on large rooftops.

Module-level power electronics make the QT2 inherently compliant with NEC rapid shutdown requirements, and its 20A maximum input current handles high-output modules up to 670W+. Every module reports performance data 24/7 through the APssystems EMA platform via encrypted Zigbee. 

Applications

The QT2-480 is built for commercial and industrial facilities with 480V three-phase service like warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, agricultural operations, etc. It’s especially efficient for expansive flat-roof arrays, and its module-level architecture suits sites with mixed orientations, partial shading, or strict rapid shutdown enforcement. Compatible with both delta and wye grid configurations.
