NOTE: The male and female designations refer to the metal contact, and not the plastic housing. Picture #2 shows the M-M-F connector and picture #3 shows the F-F-M connector.

Amphenol H4 multibranch connectors. These are used to parallel and/or to series-parallel multiple H4 connections, such as cables from solar panels. For most panels you will need a pair of multibranch connectors- one of each type to parallel each pair of PV wires. Item H4-MMF has two male connectors and one female connector. It is designed to accept two female connectors and one male connector. Item H4-FFM has two female connectors and one male connector. It is designed to accept two male connectors and one female connector.
