The HomeGrid STACK'D Series BMS and Base was designed to work with at least 2 modules (4000051 or 4000043) and no more then 8 modules per BMS and Base. When upgrading or expanding your battery capacity the manufacture recommends installing additional battery modules before 10 years from initial installation. Due to the nature of Homegrid’s BMS active module balancing, you do not need to bring the modules to the same voltage when adding to an existing bank the BMS will automatically balance the module.
