The IR-05 Flat Roof Ballast System stands out as the fastest, strongest, and most cost-effective 5-degree ballast system available. Its innovative design allows for the assembly of each base system in under 30 seconds, and module mounting takes less than a minute, resulting in a total installation time of just 5 minutes per module. With adjustable options ranging from 5 to 30 degrees, this system supports solar modules up to 700 Watts without the need for roof penetration. The IR-05 and IR-10 models are engineered to securely clamp around a standard cinder block, and the integrated handle facilitates easy transport and placement by a single person, reducing fatigue compared to other ballasted basket-type systems.

This system is designed to rack solar modules of any size in landscape orientation on a flat roof. Two IR-05 brackets are required per solar modules after the first row of brackets are placed on the roof. The center point of each IR-05 bracket will needs to be located under the ideal loading point of the solar module (Usually 15%-25% in from each long end of the solar module) as per the solar module manufacturer's ideal mounting point guidelines
