The IR-T1 is a groundbreaking tile roof hook that eliminates the need for tile removal or roof penetration. The IR-T1 TileBallast System is four times faster to install than traditional tile roof hooks and significantly enhances the strength of the entire roof structure. Utilizing our proprietary installation system and test-proven concrete adhesive, each bracket leverages the weight of the overlapping concrete roof tiles. This design allows each bracket to withstand over 175 lbs of uplift, transforming standard roof tiles into a robust ballast system for direct attachment of solar module rails.
Each IR-T1 includes our IR-L1 Slider Foot Bracket and all necessary hardware. The IR-L1 can slide along the length of the IR-T1 TileBallast System and features a unique design that allows for mounting in any direction, secured by two carriage bolts to prevent rotation.
Built to be installed on tile roofs with NO PENETRATION in 2 minutes, and is for use with Flat, S and W type tile roofs with 13" - 14.25" row spacing. Comes standard with our IR-L1 Slider Foot and is for use with all rail systems.
