Kyocera Solar manufactures one of the highest quality and most efficient solar modules available today. With over 40 years of experience designing and constructing solar panels and photovoltaic systems, Kyocera has emerged as one of the top industry leaders. The solar modules come with a UV-stabilized black aluminum frame, which is supported by most mounting equipment manufacturers. It has grounding access points on all 4 corners for fast installation times. The junction box is sealed and weatherproof, with 12 gauge PV wire and Amphenol H4 connectors. The KU340 module is designed to pass the level 6 TUV Rheinland salt mist corrosion test, which is the most extreme test condition available. The module is UL1703 certified and NEC compliant.
We recommend using the IronRidge XR rail mount system with these modules. The KU340 is very large and works best with a rail mount. However, this module can also be used with pole mounts and tracking mounts if that's what you need.
