This hybrid off-grid/grid-tie solar energy system is designed for customers who want to add a solar array system with energy storage to their home, whether off-grid or grid-tied. Featuring 11,760W of REC Solar REC420AA-PURE-2 Solar array, this system is built to generate approximately 24–63+ kWh/day (depending on sun hours). The power flows into the hybrid Discover Energy H2 HV inverter, which converts the energy generated by the solar array into usable AC power for your home. When the solar modules are generating energy, the built-in charge controller in the Discover Energy H2 HV ensures any excess power is directed to charge the battery bank.

This comprehensive solar energy kit includes 28 REC Solar REC420AA-PURE-2 solar panels, a Discover H2-8.6K-S4-US hybrid inverter, and a Discover BU2-7.3-HV high-voltage lithium battery, providing a robust solution for residential and small commercial energy needs.

This 8.6kW hybrid inverter integrates solar energy, battery storage, and grid power, optimizing energy use for both grid-tied and off-grid applications. It features advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology for maximum efficiency and supports high-voltage battery systems. The split-phase design provides consistent 120/240V output, meeting modern electrical system demands.

Discover BU2-7.3-HV High-Voltage Lithium Battery

The 7.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery offers a usable energy capacity of 6.6 kWh. Its modular design allows for easy installation and scalability, with the option to parallel up to four stacks for a total of 87.6 kWh per inverter. The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) ensures safety and optimal performance.
