Job Title: Solar Sales Engineer
Location: NAZ Solar Electric – Flagstaff, AZ

Salary: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year commensurate with experience
NAZ Solar Electric is actively seeking candidates interested in renewable energy, primarily solar and battery storage, to expand our team. Our sales and design team communicates directly with customers to understand their power and energy needs and system goals. From there we design a custom renewable energy system and/or recommend the correct equipment to meet the needs of their application. We do not go on-site or offer installation services but work closely with our customers to provide the best solution possible, as well as unparalleled post-sale commissioning and technical support.
Our experienced team will provide technical on-the-job training for solar electric system design. No previous industry experience is required, but eagerness to learn and an interest/passion in the solar industry is required.
NAZ Sales Engineer – Applicant Requirements:
- Interest in renewable energy and passion to learn.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering or a related field, or related work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Tech engaged and able to learn proficiency in lead generation techniques.
- Proficiency with computers (Microsoft platforms, CRM, Inventory Management systems, etc.)
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced work setting.
- Well-organized and proficient at multitasking

NAZ Sales Engineer - Responsibilities:
- Field leads and identifies solutions for customers interested in adopting renewable energy.
- Assess the feasibility of installing solar and energy storage systems.
- Educate customers about the benefits of solar, energy storage, and other renewable technology and provide customized solutions based on their needs.
- Prepare project proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Collaborate with our team, including engineers, to ensure successful project implementation.
- Remotely assist clients with commissioning and configuration of the systems we’ve designed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and incentives.
Highly Desired:
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems, particularly solar power.
- Familiarity with national regulations and incentives related to solar energy.
- STEM background
- NABCEP Certification
- CAD Experience
- Bilingual (Spanish)
