This hybrid off-grid/grid-tie solar energy system is designed for customers who want to add a solar array system with energy storage to their home, whether off-grid or grid-tied. Featuring 17,800W of Canadian Solar CS6.2-48TM-445H Solar array, this system is built to generate approximately 35–71+ kWh/day (depending on sun hours). The power flows into the hybrid MidNite AIO inverter, which converts the energy generated by the solar array into usable AC power for your home. When the solar modules are generating energy, the built-in charge controller in the MidNite AIO ensures any excess power is directed to charge the battery bank.

Paired with the solar array and AC power, the MidNite PowerFlo16 battery bank can deliver up to 64kWh of power (16kWh per battery) to your loads. This setup enables efficient self-consumption and reliable storage of surplus energy from the solar array. The advanced power management system in the MidNite AIO optimizes charging and discharging by monitoring home power usage, PV power generation, grid status, and energy plans. Additionally, the MidNite AIO can be programmed for "Time of Use," allowing you to prioritize solar energy consumption and minimize grid dependency during peak power hours. In the event of a grid outage, the MidNite AIO isolates (islands) the home from the grid, ensuring critical loads remain powered and backed up.

Note: Every solar system installation is different. While this kit contains almost everything you need, this kit does NOT come with a mount for the solar panels. There are many different types of mounts that can meet your needs but the most popular mounts for this type of system is a rail mount setup. Some of our customers prefer top-of-pole mounts and some prefer to build their own.
