Outback sealed FX3048MT mobile "M" series inverter with turbo fan and built-in AC transfer switch. The FX sealed M series inverters are perfectly suited for mobile, marine, and RV applications. Constructed of die-cast aluminum and sealed for weather resistance, the inverter can be mounted in any position and most locations. The built-in neutral ground switching makes connecting to a generator or shore power very easy. The inverter automatically engages and disengages the neutral ground bond depending on whether or not the AC system requires it. The built-in transfer switch operates so quickly that there's never a lapse in power to any of your devices. All Outback inverters are user serviceable in the field. The factory tests every inverter under very demanding conditions, but sometimes parts need to be replaced. Outback makes this fairly simple by offering replacement boards that are basically plug and play. You remove the faulty board and insert the new board in its place, and then you're back up and running again. This prevents you from having to send your inverter to the factory for repairs.
The Outback M series inverters can be stacked together to increase the power output capability of your electrical system. Depending upon your electrical needs, you can configure a multi-inverter system for either 120 Volts AC or 240 Volts AC. Most mobile applications only require 120VAC, so adding an additional inverter means you can double the available current for a 120VAC system. You can also configure your system for three or four inverters if you require even greater power output. The modular design for expandability via networked communications permits your mobile inverter system to grow with your electrical power needs.
