The Victron Energy Quattro-II 12/3000/120-50/50 2x120V is a powerful 12V inverter/charger engineered for North American 120/240V split-phase applications with a 50A service. Like the MultiPlus-II 2x120V, it combines a pure sine wave inverter and an advanced battery charger, but adds the ability to accept two separate AC inputs—from shore power and a generator—and automatically switches to the active source using its built-in transfer switch.

Designed specifically for split-phase systems, the Quattro-II passes through both lines of a 120/240V supply and can fully utilize the entire 50A capacity for AC loads and battery charging. When connected to a single-phase 120V input, it intelligently combines L1 and L2 outputs to deliver 120V to both sides of your distribution panel.

In the absence of AC power, the unit switches to inverter mode, providing 120V output by internally connecting L1 and L2. This ensures your 120V circuits remain powered, regardless of the input configuration. Note that 240V loads are only supported when the unit is connected to a true split-phase source—preventing large 240V appliances from unintentionally draining your batteries during backup or off-grid operation.

The Quattro-II 2x120V also features PowerAssist, PowerControl, Input Current Limiting, dual AC outputs, and support for parallel and 3-phase system expansion using Victron's VE.Bus. Compatible with LiFePO₄ and other battery chemistries, it’s fully integrated with Victron’s remote monitoring via the Cerbo GX and VRM Portal. Compact, powerful, and highly flexible, this inverter/charger is ideal for mobile, off-grid, or backup power systems.
